James Forte is CEO and Founder of MAGNA Computer Corp. MAGNA is one of the big three companies that produce Information Systems and Consulting to the Vacation Ownership industry.
Jim develops and reviews the technology that is used by his company. In addition he consults with industry leaders to produce the most efficient procedures for MAGNA's client resorts and clubs. Jim's greatest achievements are the design and coding of his company's Magna Timeshare Software software which has been hailed as best in the business. His expertise extends into every area of the vacation business. This includes: Establishing meaningful statistical analysis of marketing, streamlining the funding process with clients and banks and even designing drills for training of tour desk personnel to maintain optimum public relations and top speed in registering tours.
Jim has been successful in other areas in the past, in the late 70's and early 80's he was a fashion photographer in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Then he pursued his earlier education in computers and electronic hardware. In the early 80's he managed the contract room and laid out procedures for Marine Terrace in Daytona Beach, Florida. During this time he wrote software to manage the office. This was then further enhanced and refined to become Magna.Net software, internet and web enabled enterprise software for timeshare resorts. In 1984 MAGNA Computer was formed, became fully incorporated in 1985, and has been expanding ever since.
Jim has been recognized by Sterling's Who's Who for accomplishments in the computer industry.
In September 2001 Jim was at Ground Zero in New York and assisted in the relief effort at the actual site.
